Healthy joints

During a one-week stay, you will undergo an arthroscopy and receive spa treatments. The package includes not only medical services, but also the flight, pick-up from the airport, accommodation at a four-star hotel and tourist attractions.

1. Knee arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally-invasive orthopaedic surgical technique used to diagnose and repair damaged joints. A small incision is made in the skin, through which an arthroscope is advanced into the joint.

The arthroscope is a special device that sends images from the inside of the examined joint to a computer screen. This enables the doctor to carry out a detailed assessment of the damaged tissues and to repair them without major surgery. Because it is associated with a lower risk of infection, does not require long-term therapy and is painless (the patient is given an anaesthetic), arthroscopy has become a common treatment option for joint diseases.

Knee arthroscopy is often associated with the need to even out areas of cartilaginous damage, stabilisation of osseocartilaginous fragments, partial removal of the synovial membrane and folds, removal of free-floating fragments, meniscoplasty, or patellar realignment.

Spa treatments

Treatments offered as part of the package include the individual exercise programme AVIOR, Mulligan and Cyriax orthopaedic therapy, kinesiotaping, local cryotherapy, functional massage, magnet therapy, and laser treatments.

Thanks to the spa treatments, the joint will be strengthened and its function will be improved after the arthroscopy. This, in turn, will result in a more-rapid restoration of motor functions and elimination of the pain that has bothered the patient all day, every day.

Accommodation and meals are included throughout the patient's stay.

2. Ankle joint arthroscopy

Because it is associated with a lower risk of infection, does not require long-term therapy and is painless (the patient is given an anaesthetic), arthroscopy has become a common treatment option for joint diseases.

Ankle joint arthroscopy focuses on repair procedures of the anterior margin of the tibia within the joint.

Spa treatments

The treatments offered as part of the package include the individual exercise programme DRACO, Mulligan and Cyriax orthopaedic therapy, kinesiotaping, local cryotherapy, functional massage, magnet therapy, and laser treatments.

Thanks to the spa treatments, the joint will be strengthened and its function will be improved after the arthroscopy. This, in turn, will result in a more-rapid restoration of motor functions and elimination of the pain that has bothered the patient all day, every day.

3. Shoulder joint arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally-invasive orthopaedic surgical technique used to diagnose and repair damaged joints.

Shoulder joint arthroscopy is a type of surgery involving glenohumeral joint endoscopy coupled with subacromial space endoscopy. Various reconstruction measures may be undertaken during the procedure:

- glenoid reconstruction (Bankart injuries, SLAP)
- tenodesis (relocation) of the long head of the biceps muscle tendon
- rotator cuff reconstruction

Spa treatments

The treatments offered as part of the package include the individual exercise programme NEURAC, Mulligan and Cyriax orthopaedic therapy, kinesiotaping, local cryotherapy, functional massage, magnet therapy, and laser treatments.

Thanks to the spa treatments, the joint will be strengthened and its function will be improved after the arthroscopy. This, in turn, will result in a more-rapid restoration of motor functions and elimination of the pain that has bothered the patient all day, every day.
