What is Electrocoagulation?

It is an electrosurgery procedure used on skin lesions, enabling fast and efficient restoration of proper skin condition.

How is this procedure done?

An electrical arch formed by a high-frequency and low-voltage current generated in a special device coagulates the lesion tissue and enables its effective, fast, painless and non-invasive removal, without the need for stitches. Depending on the extent and placement of treated skin lesions and the patient’s pain tolerance, regional anaesthesia may be required. The therapy is done in a single procedure or in a series of procedures, depending on the issue being treated.

Who is electrocoagulation for?

To patients who want to get rid of:

- warts
- dermatofibromas
- milia
- atheroma
- dilated capillaries
- excess hair

How will the patient benefit from the procedure?

Electrocoagulation is fast, painless and doesn’t require stitches; hence, it is a perfect alternative to traditional surgery. It comfortably removes unsightly lesions.
